Other leathers include Barenia Natural, Box Calf, Fjord, Swift, Buffalo Skipper, Chamonix, Chevre de Coromandel, Doblis Suede and Chevre Mysore. Exotic skins include Varanus Niloticus (Lizard), Ostrich, Alligator, Crocodile Niloticus (matte and shiny), Crocodile Porosus and Natural Lizard.
There are currently three versions of the Kelly Sellier Special Order Bag:
Version 1:
- Looks like a regular Kelly Sellier with the interior and exterior as the same color.
- Stitching is a different color.
- Your choice in hardware.
- Your choice in the length of the leather strap.
Version 2:
- The exterior is one color.
- The interior and stitching are different colors.
- Your choice in hardware.
- Your choice in the length of the leather strap.
Version 3:
- The front panel, back panel and interior are one color.
- The side panels, top handles, side straps, clochette, shoulder strap and stitching are a different color.
- Your choice in the length of the leather strap.
When are Special Orders placed?
There are two timeframes for placing a Special Order: April and October of each year.
Do you have to accept the Special Order bag?
Contrary to what others may think, the SO customer is not obligated to accept and purchase the HSS bag they customized.
Common reasons for customer rejection:
- The customer dislikes a change made to the bag by Hermès headquarters (E.g., stitching color was changed).
- The customer has already purchased something similar whilst waiting for their SO bag to arrive.
